Bakery On Main uses Decas sweetened Dried cranberries in our Nutty Cranberry Maple, Cranberry Orange Cashew and Extreme Fruit & Nut Granola. They are also used in their Cranberry Maple Nut and Extreme Trail Mix Bars.
Located in Carver, MA, Decas was founded in 1934 by Nicholas, Charles, and William Decas who had recently immigrated from Greece. Decas is still a family-owned business and for more than seven decades, the Decas family has built their reputation as the cranberry ingredient experts. They know every aspect of cranberry growing and processing. Decas Sweetened Dried Cranberries start with quality fruit which is selected based on size, appearance, and maturity. Decas handles this fruit and the processing through an array of computer based process controls to give a reproducible, quality finished product. They are certified for food safety and organic production, Kosher OU Parve and are Halal approved.
